Trump to Nominate FHA Head to No. 2 HUD Job

President Trump has announced that he plans to nominate Brian Montgomery, the commissioner of the Federal Housing Association, to be deputy secretary at the Department of Housing and Urban Development. So reports Bloomberg.

Montgomery’s confirmation to his current position marked the first time someone had served as FHA head under three different administrations, the Trump administration said in a statement.

Montgomery is in charge of overseeing the FHA’s $1.4 trillion mortgage insurance portfolio, the White House said.
