A fraudulent mortgage relief scheme in Hawaii has landed a Louisiana man a 20-year prison sentence. So reports Maui Now.

A judge handed 49-year-old Anthony T. Williams the sentence following his conviction in March on 32 counts or wire and mail fraud.

Williams’ scheme had targeted mainly non-native English speakers in the Filipino immigrant community.
