Mortgage Broker on Bail in Fraud Case Adds DWI Charge

A mortgage broker who was one of four indicted last year in an alleged mortgage fraud scheme totaling hundreds of millions of dollars has added some lesser counts to his rap sheet. So reports the Buffalo News.

Frank Giacobbe, owner of Buffalo, N.Y.-based Aurora Capital, was free on bail in the federal mortgage fraud case when he was charged with driving while intoxicated and other violations.

The fraud case, involving loans for apartment properties, is set for trial in early 2021.
