Ex-Gang Member Wants Jail Release in Mortgage Fraud Case

A former member of the 311 Boyz gang has argued that a Las Vegas court should have released him after posting bond on charges of a mortgage scam. So reports the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Steven Gazlay, 36, who is charged in a police warrant with scamming a hard-money lender out of $700,000, claimed in court that his ongoing detention was unconstitutional.

Gazlay, previously released from prison in 2019, has eight felony convictions.
