Forbearances Fall for 2nd Consecutive Week: Black Knight:

The number of homeowners in active forbearance on their mortgages fell for the second consecutive week, according to Black Knight data. Overall, the number of active forbearance plans is down 77,000 from last week, and 112,000 from the peak during the week of May 22.

While initial claims for unemployment insurance came in at 1.5 million for the current reporting week (June 6), representing a decline of 350,000 from the previous week’s level, there have still been more than 44 million unemployment insurance claims filed over the last 12 weeks.
