Mortgage LO Faces 90 Years for Faking Clients' Child Support

A Florida-based mortgage loan officer has been convicted of forging documents to show that clients were divorced or receiving child support. The charges carry a maximum of 90 years in prison. So reports Orlando-News.com.

handcuffs 354042 640small 280x186A federal jury found Omayra Ujaque guilty of three counts of bank fraud and one count of aggravated identity theft, the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida announced.

According to the indictment, the 52-year-old’s scam sought funding for unqualified borrowers through an unspecified financial institution that employed her.
