Mortgage Rates Notch Second Straight Weekly Gain

U.S. long-term mortgage rates have risen for a second consecutive week after dropping for four straight weeks before that. So reports CNN.

Freddie Mac 150x150According to Freddie Mac, the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 6.32% in the week ending February 16, up 30 basis points from the previous week.

Freddie Mac economist Sam Khater said that stubborn inflation was causing rates to remain choppy.
