Builder Confidence Sees Biggest Monthly Gain in 10 Years

Homebuilder sentiment has registered its largest monthly increase since June 2013, according to the National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index. So reports CNBC.

arrows 311332 640 smallThe benchmark of builder confidence in the market for newly constructed single-family homes climbed seven points in February to 41.

While any measure under 50 is deemed negative, NAHB Chairman Alicia Huey noted “cautious optimism” as mortgage rates remained down from their late-2022 highs.
