Forbearances Inch Above 3 Million for First Time in Weeks

Mortgage forbearances have been on the rise once again, according to Black Knight.

As of October 27, there were more than 3 million active forbearances for the first time since early October, representing $619 billion in unpaid principal, Black Knight says.

The number of active forbearances was up by 31,000, or 1%, on the week.
