FHA Hikes Loan Limits for 2021, Raising Floor to $356,362

The Federal Housing Agency has announced its loan limits for 2021, with most areas of the country to see an increase in the next 12 months.

FHA’s floor and ceiling limits are tied to the Federal Housing Finance Agency’s annual loan limit, which that agency recently raised by 7.42% for the coming year based on an uptick in national median housing prices.

In keeping with this shift, FHA is raising its loan limit floor from $331,760 to $356,362, while the ceiling for high-cost areas rises from $765,600 to $822,375.
