According to the mortgage-finance giant, the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 2.71% for the week ending December 3, compared with 2.72% the previous week.
The 15-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 2.26%, down from 2.28%.
Zillow economist Matthew Speakman noted that mortgage rates, unusually, were moving counter to Treasury yields, which climbed amid stimulus hopes.
