Fed Sticks with Near-Zero Interest Rates as Inflation Rises

The Federal Reserve has held its benchmark interest rate near zero, saying that vaccine distribution has boosted the U.S. economy but remaining committed to strong stimulus. So reports Yahoo Finance.

The Fed said that “transitory factors” were largely to blame for rising inflation.
