Economy Revs Up With 6.4% GDP Gain in First Quarter

The U.S. economy roared to life to start the year, as a government report found that gross domestic product climbed by an annualized 6.4% in the first quarter. So reports CNBC.

A separate report from the Department of Labor found that first-time unemployment claims edged down the previous week, to their own post-pandemic low.
