Fannie Mae Fourth-Quarter Profit, Revenue Fall

Fannie Mae has posted slumping fourth-quarter financial results. So reports MarketWatch.

Fannie Mae2 e1615570153127 600x600The government-sponsored housing finance giant said it had a net income of $1.43 billion during the last three months of 2022, off from $5.19 billion a year earlier, while revenue slipped 1% to $7.14 billion.

Fannie Mae CEO Priscilla Almovodar said, as quoted by DSNews, “Our 2022 results reflect a housing market in transition.”
