Fannie, Freddie Name Common Securitization Solutions CEO

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have announced Anthony Renzi as the CEO of Common Securitization Solutions. So reports the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Most recently, Renzi was president and chief operating officer of New Jersey-based mortgage subservicer Cenlar FSB. Before that, he was CEO of Philadelphia-area mortgage servicer and originator Ditech Holding Corp.

Renzi succeeds David Applegate, who previously announced plans to step down by year-end.

Common Securitization Solutions, or CSS, is a joint venture between Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac that has a key role in running the technology platform that supports the new Uniform Mortgage-Backed Security.
