Real Estate Investors’ Share of Home Purchases Jumps

The share of all single-family homes purchased by investors has leapt in the most recent quarterly figures. So reports Think Realty.

house 167734 640smallReal estate investors’ share of home purchases nationally in the third quarter of 2021 jumped about 40% year-over-year, to a 16.4% share, according to the RealtyTrac Investor Purchase Report.

The share of investor purchases that were all-cash rose to 79% in the third quarter, up from 69.5% a year earlier.
