Utah Proptech Homie Lays Off One-Third of Its Staff

Homie, a Utah-based real estate technology company, has terminated one third of its employees. So reports TechCrunch.

HomieIn a LinkedIn post, the company attributed the layoff decision to “the changing real estate market.”

Homie raised $23 million in Series B funding in February 2020, when it planned to use the money “to expand to new markets, and continue the buildout of its end-to-end home buying and selling platform.”
