The key to marketing is to make your company look different in a positive manner. When most people are interviewed, they rarely receive anything but directions to the office. Loan officer candidates are maybe offered a rate sheet and perhaps some flyers. Shouldn’t we have a professional presentation to attract a professional?

While it is always good to put a package in the hands of a prospect, today technology gives us the ability to present information in many different formats:

  • Recruitment slide presentation: a presentation derived from the recruiting package
  • Recruiting video: film short videos which can be posted online and shared through email, your websites, Facebook and more
  • Recruiting website: a page on your corporate site or a direct site
  • Facebook business page: Facebook business pages and others such as a LinkedIn company page can be formatted to approximate the look and feel of a recruiting website to which you can add to on a regular basis

Even if you feel comfortable with filming and PowerPoint, you should use a professional to put these together. Your goal is to attract professional loan officers, not turn them off. It is important to spend the time in recruiting meetings listening instead of talking. When the prospect has questions about your company, your recruitment package can do the talking for you.
