James Bailey, a professor of leadership development at the George Washington University School of Business, said that the independent nature of their jobs means that mortgage brokers don’t need the collaboration or culture that working in the office can foster.
Gleb Tsipursky, CEO of consultancy Disaster Avoidance Experts, said that while many employers, mortgage companies among them, seem to be going back to the office for at least partial weeks, leaders should aim to be understanding and accommodative of their employees.
