Rocket Mortgage Names New CEO in Corporate Shakeup

Rocket Mortgage has promoted Bob Walters to the CEO role as part of a leadership reshuffling at the Detroit-based Rocket Companies organization. So reports Crain’s Detroit.

Rocket Loans 150x150Walters was previously the president and chief operating officer of both Rocket Companies and Rocket Mortgage and will hold onto the former role.

Jay Farner, vice chair and CEO of Rocket Companies and previously the CEO of Rocket Mortgage, will become the CEO of Rocket Companies’ centralized fintech hub Rocket Central (formerly known as Rock Central). The announcement comes among other internal executive moves.
