New Borrowers Are 'Good Risks': Transunion Study

Consumers qualifying for a credit product for the first time are more reliable than they might appear, according to a new study by Transunion. So reports GoBankingRates.

transunionBy and large, new-to-credit consumers perform as well or better than borrowers with established credit and similar risk scores, Transunion says.

The study concludes, “NTC consumers around the globe are generally good risks when compared to other established borrowers with similar credit risk profiles.”
