Mortgage Loan Officer Lied About Child Support, Feds Say

A Florida-based mortgage loan officer forged documents to show that clients were divorced or receiving child support, according to a federal indictment. So reports the Orlando Sentinel.

The 52-year-old loan officer was charged with three counts of bank fraud and one count of aggravated identity theft and could face a lengthy prison sentence if convicted.
