Mortgage Fraudster Tells Her Side on VH1’s 'My True Crime Story'

Jamila Davis, who spent nine years in prison following a 2008 sentence for mortgage fraud, shares how it happened in a recent episode of VH1’s “My True Crime Story.” So reports Distractify.

prison 553836 640smallDavis was sentenced in the multimillion-dollar scheme alongside Brenda Rickard, but there were at least nine other co-conspirators, most of whom testified against the pair.

In the episode, Davis contends she was merely following instructions, saying, “Literally, Lehman Brothers Bank taught us how to commit the fraud.”
