Hackers Target Homebuyers with Email Scam

Scammers in recent years have increasingly aimed a novel form of cyberattack at eager homebuyers. So reports Bloomberg Businessweek.

These fraudsters generally assemble contact details for players in a real estate transaction, such as mortgage lenders and brokers, and send mass phishing messages in hopes that someone will be fooled.
