Former Live Well CEO Changes Lawyers, Gets Sentencing Break

Sentencing for Michael Hild, after his conviction in a massive scam that led to the collapse of his mortgage firm Live Well, has been delayed due to him recently switching lawyers. So reports Richmond (Va.) BizSense.

prison 553836 640smallOriginally set for August 20, Hild’s sentencing hearing in Manhattan federal court is now on the books for September 10.

Hild, who is out on bond, has replaced Benjamin Dusing, a childhood friend from Kentucky who represented him at trial, with attorney Brian Jacobs of New York firm Morvillo Abramowitz Grand Iason & Anello.
