Ex-Live Well Financial CFO Avoids Prison Time

The former chief financial officer of Live Well Financial, Eric Rohr, has dodged prison time for his role in a massive scam that led to the collapse of the mortgage firm. So reports Richmond BizSense.

gavel 3576932 640smallAlthough the maximum penalty was 17 years in prison, a Manhattan federal court judge sentenced Rohr to time served and three years of supervised release.

The judge cited Rohr’s key testimony against Live Well founder and CEO Michael Hild, who was found guilty on all counts and sentenced to 44 months in prison but remains free on bond pending appeal.
