State Farm, Quicken Loans Join Forces on Mortgages

State Farm and Quick Loans have announced a deal that will see the biggest home insurance provider’s agents using the biggest retail mortgage originator’s online mortgage service, Rocket Mortgage. So reports Crain’s Detroit Business.

ore-->The companies said in a news release that new Rocket Mortgage tools should be ready for State Farm to use within a few months.

Quicken Loans CEO Jay Farner said in the release, “Through this alliance, we will be able to combine Rocket Mortgage’s powerful mortgage processing and underwriting technology with the advice and strong relationships built from the power of the State Farm agent network.”

The change won’t affect existing State Farm customers, but new loans will go through Quicken Loans once the transition happens, according to the release.
