Share of Mortgages in Forbearance May Be Leveling Off

The percentage of mortgages in forbearance has continued to increase, but at a lower level than earlier in the pandemic, according to data from the Mortgage Bankers Association. So reports FOX Business.

The share of homeowners in forbearance rose 20 basis points to 8.36% in the week ending May 17, representing about 4.2 million homeowners.
