Santander has announced that it will end its home lending business in the U.S. market. So reports Banking Dive.

Santander In a presentation to investors, the Spanish bank said it plans to concentrate on higher-margin areas like auto loans.

Tim Wennes, Santander’s U.S. CEO, said the bank’s mortgage portfolios lacked sufficient scale.
