Rithm Capital Caps Sculptor Deal After Fight

Newrez parent Rithm Capital has wrapped up its acquisition of hedge fund Sculptor following months of rival offers, legal filings and other drama. So reports Bloomberg.

rithm capitalThe deal is worth roughly $720 million, or $12.70 a share, according to Rithm, up from an originally announced price of $11.15 back in July.

Rithm gains Scupltor’s $32.8 billion of assets and heads off a group of rival suitors led by Saba Capital Management founder Boaz Weinstein.
