Mortgage Rates Sink to Third Straight All-Time Low

The benchmark 30-year mortgage rate has fallen to a record low for a third consecutive week. So reports the Associated Press.

The 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 3.03% in the week ending July 9, according to Freddie Mac.

That’s down from 3.07% and 3.13% across the two previous weeks, each already the lowest rates since Freddie Mac started keeping track in 1971.
