Mortgage Rates Rise for Third Straight Week

Long-term U.S. mortgage rates have gone up for a third consecutive week amid inflation worries. So reports CNN.

arrow 2790272 640 600x600According to Freddie Mac, the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 6.5% in the week ending February 23, compared with 6.32% the prior week and 3.89% a year earlier.

Rates have risen about 0.5% in a month after declining from a recent high of 7.08% in November.
