Mortgage Rates Just Hit a Fourth All-Time Low of 2020

Long-term mortgage rates have touched another record low, already their fourth this year. So reports MarketWatch.

According to Freddie Mac, the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 3.13% for the week ending June 18, down from 3.21% the previous week. That’s just below the prior mark of 3.15% set in late May.

Zillow economist Matthew Speakman told MarketWatch that rates could now be at a crossroads depending on the further impact of the coronavirus.
