Mortgage rates have continued their recent move toward 5% as investors digest rising inflation and supply disruptions. So reports CNN.

Stock Market Rally growth 3078543 640The average on the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage for the week ending March 31 climbed 25 basis points to 4.67%, according to Freddie Mac.

Realtor.com chief economist Danielle Hale said that rates could hit 5% in weeks if they continue to rise along their recent path.
