Mortgage Rates Drop for Fourth Straight Week

U.S. long-term mortgage rates have turned in their fourth consecutive week of declines. So reports CNN.

arrow 98577 1280According to Freddie Mac, the average for the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage in the week ending December 8 was 6.33%, a drop of 16 basis points from the previous week.

The 30-year fixed-rate averaged 3.10% a year earlier.
