Mortgage Complaints Jump to Three-Year High: CFPB

Overall mortgage complaints to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau have leaped to their highest monthly volume since April 2018, according to new data from the agency. So reports Law360.

CFPB 100x100The CFPB said it received 3,400 complaints in March 2021. "Trouble during the payment process” has been the leading issue cited in complaints since January 2020, according to the agency, joined by problems with forbearance communications and other confusion.
