Mortgage Applications Fall for Fourth Time in Five Weeks

Ahead of the pivotal spring homebuying season, mortgage applications have been mired in a consistent decline. So reports Axios.

According to the Mortgage Bankers Association’s weekly survey, mortgage applications for the week ending March 10 were down for the fourth of five weeks, and the sixth week in the last eight.

Refinances took up a smaller share of mortgages, falling from 67.5% to 64.5%.
