JPMorgan Chase Hits Pause on HELOC Applications

JPMorgan Chase is taking a break from accepting home equity line of credit (HELOC) applications amid the economic fallout from the coronavirus pandemic. So reports The American Banker.

“Due to the economic uncertainty, we’re temporarily pausing new applications for home equity lines of credit,” says Amy Bonitatibus, chief marketing officer at Chase Home Lending, according to the article.

JPMorgan clients can still apply for a cash-out refinance of their existing mortgage, according to Bonatitibus.
