High Rates Keep Many Homebuyers on the Sidelines: Survey

The new edition of the BMO Real Financial Progress Index has found that more than 65% of Americans indicate that they are holding off on buying a home until mortgage rates drop. So reports MReport.

house for sale 2845213 1920What’s more, according to BMO, just 6% of Americans who say they intend to buy a home in the near future predicted they will make their purchase in the next few months.

Among millennials and Gen Zers, 56% said that home ownership was less achievable than it was for their parents’ generation.
