Ginnie Mae Loses Another Acting Head

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has announced the resignation of Ginnie Mae’s acting leader, Maren Kasper. So reports Politico.

!--more-->Kasper planned to step down this month “to pursue an opportunity in the private sector,” the department said in a press release.

Kasper took over after the sudden exit in January of Ginnie Mae’s acting president Michael Bright to head up the Structured Finance Association, a trade organization. Seth Appleton, assistant secretary for policy development and research, will step in as principal executive vice president, according to the release.
