FHFA Finalizes ERCF Rules for Fannie, Freddie

The Financial Housing Finance Agency has issued a final rule updating the Enterprise Regulatory Capital Framework governing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. So reports Financial Regulation News.

FHFAAmong other changes, the amended ERCF reduces the risk weight for guarantees on commingled securities from 20% to 5%.
