FHFA Extends COVID-19 Loan Flexibilities for Fannie, Freddie

The Federal Housing Finance Agency has announced that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will let some temporary loan origination flexibilities last a little longer. So reports DS News.

FHFAThese COVID-19 allowances, previously set to expire April, will now extend to May 31. The FHFA indicated in its announcement that it does not expect to continue extending loan flexibilities further in coming months.
