Fannie Mae Hires Finance Vet as Chief Risk Officer

Fannie Mae has named Ryan Zanin, currently a member of the mortgage finance giant’s board of directors, as its executive vice president and chief risk officer.

!--more-->Zanin, who will step down from the board, has more than 30 years of financial service experiences and 20 years of risk management experience, according to the announcement.

From 2015 until retiring from General Electric in 2018, Zanin worked as president and CEO of the restructuring and strategic ventures group at GE Capital.
