Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac Update Equitable Housing Plans

The Federal Housing Finance Agency announced updates to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac’s three-year Equitable Housing Finance Plans. So reports Builder.

Fannie Mae2 150x150The updates flesh out last year’s announcement of the plans, which were touted as a way to knock down barriers to sustainable housing for underserved communities.

“Since the launch of our plan in 2022, we have made considerable progress in identifying meaningful ways to address historical challenges faced by underserved communities, particularly for Black and Latino people," Katrina Jones, vice president of racial equity, strategy, and impact at Fannie Mae, said in a statement.
