Fannie Mae Boosts Board of Directors, Adding Pair of Academics

Fannie Mae has named two veterans of academia to its board of directors, the government-backed housing finance giant has announced.

One of the new board members, Simon Johnson, has been a professor at the MIT Sloan School of Management since 1997.

The other addition, Christopher Brummer, is the faculty director of the Institute of International Economic Law and Agnes N. Williams Professor of Law at the Georgetown University Law Center.
