One of the complaints was filed on behalf of Kassandra Memmer, who had a doctor’s note prescribing a leave of absence to protect her health and the health of her unborn child, and the other was filed by her partner, Jackson, who claims he was fired while he was on paternity leave.
The lawsuits follow an article outlining accusations against UWM from about 30 current and former employees. The company disputes the report.
