Julián Castro, the former Housing and Urban Development Secretary, has announced the end of his bid for the presidency. So reports The Hill.

In a video, Castro said, “I’ve determined that it simply isn’t our time,” noting "the circumstances of this campaign season."

Castro’s departure one month before the Iowa caucuses leaves the Democratic primary field without a Latino candidate.
