August Pending Home Sales Surge to All-Time High

Pending home sales have reached their highest level on record since the National Association of Realtors began its monthly survey 19 years ago. So reports The Hill.

The number of homes under sales contract soared 8.8% in August, bringing the pending home sales index to an all-time high of 132.8, according to the NAR.

George Ratiu, Realtor.com’s senior economist, told CNN that the traditional U.S. homebuying season has moved later into 2020.
