The only three days of the year that offer a discount below estimated market value are December 4, December 26 and December 31, according to ATTOM's latest annual research.
The discounts only range from 0.1% to 0.3%, but December overall—the best month to buy across the country—was still at 1.2% premium, according to ATTOM. State-by-state discounts varied, with the biggest monthly discounts seen by Ohio (-7.4%) in January and Michigan (-7.2%) and Delaware (-6.3%) in February (-7.2%).
