Single-Family Rental Returns Balloon Amid Wider Turmoil

Landlords of single-family rentals have been sitting pretty in a rough year for home sales and multifamily rentals, according to the latest numbers from real estate data firm Attom. So reports Commercial Observer.

AttomAttom projects a gross rental yield of 7.5% this year on three-bedroom homes in the 212 counties that it tracks, compared with 6.7% last year.

Single-family rents are on the upswing—and outpacing home prices—in 90% of countries tracked, per Attom.
